New project ?

I've been curious about writing fiction for quite some time now. I'm interested in science fiction for the scope of what it'll allow you to get away with but I'm also like the fantasy and mythological stuff. This first post isn't going to be a story but it'll be a taste of things to come ...

I have a few characters already in role play games for inspiration. We have Keela the Cleric, as well as Keela Danne and Honor Truman, intrepid explorers and space captains. There's Iceangel, the elemental force of destruction. Bashara the bodyguard, who continually strives to prove that a lithe and diminutive lady can be the equal of the roughest toughest, biggest warriors out there. I have a few more, like the sorceror who's art drove him mad, Finlay the dogged hunter and Tashmetu Mistress of the Elements.

We'll see what adventures they'll have over the next few months. First may well be the introduction of Keela Danne and Honor Truman as they survey the final stages of construction of Honor's new ship. The names will change, as will the settings. But I think it may take a while before those universes settle down into something coherent.
